Dr Paul Manktelow is a vet who’s worked for almost 20 years on the front line in some of the UK’s busiest veterinary hospitals. As Chief Vet in the Charity Sector, he leads a team of vets and nurses that treat thousands of pets every year. Paul also appears regularly in the media as a TV and radio presenter, writer, public speaker and podcast producer.

The biggest and most famous dog show in the world, Crufts, is returning to the NEC on the 9th March with Dr Paul Manktelow returning in the presenter line up for the fourth year running.

Dr Paul will be joining Clare Balding, Sophie Morgan, Radzi Chinyanganya and Ashleigh Butler in the shows 119th year. 

Paul is a strong advocate for the welfare of dogs and regularly appears in the UK media as a presenter, writer and podcast producer. 

On his return Dr Paul says: 

“I am thrilled to be back! Crufts is an amazing platform to engage with millions of dog owners across the world and to shine a spotlight on the most current health topics, scientific innovations and veterinary issues within the dog world today. 

I’ve been part of some fantastic features over the years including canine obesity, anxiety and behavioural issues, respiratory testing in bulldogs, pet bereavement, DNA testing, Lucy’s law, Vets in Crisis and many many more. 

I can’t wait to show viewers what we’ve got in store this year…”
