My name is Paul Manktelow and I’ve been a vet for nearly 20 years working on the front line in some of the UK’s busiest veterinary hospitals.
Whilst I started out fixing poorly pets, my career has taken me in many exciting directions into the worlds of business, leadership, communication and the media of TV, print and podcasts.

VETERINARY
I am a UK veterinary surgeon with 20 years experience, a keen advocate and spokesperson for pet health and the veterinary profession/world.
BUSINESS
I have a passion for leadership, communication and strategy. As Principal of Vet Services, I head up 15 large veterinary hospitals for leading veterinary charity PDSA. I am also the founder of content creation platform ‘The Consult Room’.
MEDIA
I am a passionate about TV and have featured as a vet presenter in prime time shows such as ‘Crufts’, C4, ‘This Morning’, ITV, ‘Junior Vets’, CBBC, ‘Animal Madhouse’ C4.
Alongside regular contributions as a writer with columns in The Times and Dogs Monthly and creator and presenter of the Podcast ‘The Consult Room’.
