Dr Paul Manktelow is a vet who’s worked for almost 20 years on the front line in some of the UK’s busiest veterinary hospitals. As Chief Vet in the Charity Sector, he leads a team of vets and nurses that treat thousands of pets every year. Paul also appears regularly in the media as a TV and radio presenter, writer, public speaker and podcast producer.
Veterinary surgeon, broadcaster and presenter Dr Paul Manktelow will join Edition Dog Live 2026 as the event’s official veterinary expert when it returns to NAEC Stoneleigh this October.
Taking place across 17th and 18th October 2026, the two-day event will bring together dog guardians, canine professionals, experts and exhibitors for a weekend celebrating dogs, with a strong focus on their health, wellbeing and the relationships we share with them.
Dr Paul will be right at the heart of the event across the weekend, bringing more than 20 years of veterinary experience to live discussions, audience Q&As and conversations around canine health and wellbeing.
He will appear in the Live Arena Wellness Panels throughout the weekend, discussing topics that matter to the health, welfare and wellbeing of dogs, while offering practical veterinary insight for dog guardians.
Dr Paul will also be getting involved across other areas of Edition Dog Live, meeting visitors, answering questions and helping to make veterinary advice accessible, engaging and relevant to everyday life with dogs.
Speaking ahead of the event, Dr Paul said:
“I’m really excited to be joining Edition Dog Live as their official veterinary expert. Events like this are a brilliant opportunity to bring good veterinary information directly to dog guardians and to have engaging conversations about the health and wellbeing of our dogs.
“I’ll be getting involved right across the weekend, answering questions, joining discussions and hopefully meeting a huge number of dogs along the way. It’s going to be great!”
Alongside its programme of expert talks and discussions, Edition Dog Live will feature live demonstrations, activities and experiences across the weekend, creating plenty of opportunities for visitors to learn more about their dogs while enjoying two days dedicated to all things canine.
