Veterinary surgeon Dr Paul Manktelow is joining the Crufts presenting team for his second year.

The biggest and most famous dog show in the world is returning to the NEC Birmingham from the 10th to the 13th March after the global pandemic caused the 2021 show to be cancelled. Dr Paul Manktelow will join the Crufts 22 presenting team alongside Clare Balding, Radzi Chinyanganya, Sophie Morgan and Ashleigh Butler.

Dr Paul has been a vet for almost 20 years working on the front-line in some of the UKs busiest veterinary hospitals. He has worked extensively in the veterinary charity sector and in his role at PDSA he leads large veterinary teams that treat tens of thousands of pets across communities throughout the UK.

He is a strong advocate for the welfare of dogs and is a regular spokesperson around pet health issues regularly appearing in the UK media as a presenter, writer and podcast producer.

Paul says: ‘I’m thrilled to be back for Crufts 22! 2020 seems so long ago but I was proud of the features I presented that had a strong focus on welfare. There is still more work to be done and I can’t wait to get started!’

Tickets for Crufts 22 are on sale at https://www.crufts.org.uk/tickets/ and you can catch the live shows on Channel 4 and More4.
